Pathshala South Asian Media Academy is offering Three-Years Professional Programme in Photography. Portfolio is invited from interested students for enrolment in May, 2012 session.

Admission Fee: 32000* BDT per semester (Two semesters in a year) for Bangladeshi and SAARC students only [* = Conditions Apply] Scholarships are available (Conditions Apply):…Khaled Mansoor Trust for First Year (Best deserving female) Alumni Scholarship for First Year (Best deserving candidate) Chobi Mela for Second or Third Year (Best deserving rural journalist) Scopes of other local and international scholarships are available Internship opportunity: NGOs, news papers, electronic media for the best 50% students

Minimum criteria for application:

1. HSC (Minimum CGPA 2.5 or 2nd class)
2. Basic / Foundation Course in Photography (At least one month from any Photographic institution)
3. Proficiency in speaking and writing English

Candidates must submit:

1. Attested photocopies of all academic certificates
2. Two passport-size photographs of the candidate
3. A portfolio (ten printed photographs of 10” x 8” size)

Admission schedule:

  • Last date of Portfolio Submission: April 10, 2012
  • Interview starts from: April 16, 2012
  • Interview Result: April 19, 2012
  • Last date of Admission for selected candidates: April 30, 2012.
  • Class Starts from: May 02, 2012
